Booking.CON.. never again
Never ever will I use this organisation again . They have extremely poor customer service and have overcharged me for a short break , double the price that I could have paid if I went direct to the hotel. The reason being that they took a 2X adult trip with 2 rooms ( so single supplement obviously) and booked it as price per room but the entire trip was based on 4 adults !!
When I clarified with the hotel directly and requested their direct price if I had booked through them it was 50% less.. thanks Booking.CON

I booked a lovely hotel through this…
I booked a lovely hotel through this service and while preparing for my trip I looked at my emails for the details only to discover my booking had been cancelled with the excuse of 'invalid credit card'. No where on the site to make a complaint, will not be using them again, I would advise to look at any hotel and contact them direct. What a waste of space other than the fact they have all the hotels listed in one place, like a yellow pages with pics, do not recommend as a service.

Can’t recommend Booking.com
Hi
We have now checked in on our hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

First night we did not get the hotel room we have booked. The room that we were supposed to have was not ready so we were installed in a temporary room. We’re told that we would have our room tomorrow morning
Next day we got our room at 14:00 so we could finally unpack
Acc to Booking.com we had booked in a resort with Casino, fitness, restaurant, bars, lovely beach…. Just a paradise

The reality was completely different

NO casino
No fitness
No restaurant
No bars
And the 24 hour reception was closed
The beach was full of sea weed and hasn’t been cleaned for a long time.

The whole resort was CLOSED !!!!
Nothing was opened!!!

Our new room we got on day 2 the A/C was leaking like crazy on the floor through the ceiling.
After repair of the leaks the A/C was not working for a few days which caused the temperature to reach 30 deg in our bedroom

We called and wrote to Booking.com on the first and second day to complain about this, and to get a partial refund….
But no response except “ we’re sorry “

I guess 4.000 US$ for three weeks in a closed resort seems fair for you

So it looks like we have to pay full price for checking in on a closed resort with nothing to do

Thank you Booking.com

False Advertising & Booking.com Couldn't Care Less
We felt we did not get what we paid for.
1. There was no jetted tube as mentioned in the description. There was actually no tub at all. This may not be an issue for some, but when you have arthritis…it’s a HUGE issue. When all your joints ache, its very beneficial to soak in the tub first thing in the morning and at the end of the day, especially after being active on vacation.
2. There was no balcony or patio as shown in the photos. Not only did we NOT get a balcony/patio, we ended up with an adjoined room with very loud group of people.
3. The tvs were the worst tvs we’ve ever encountered, even at Motels. The remote had no guide button, the tv had no guide channel, the tv didn’t show what station it was just a crazy number like D-27 (no way to know what channels we had). Plus, there was no remote for the 2nd TV, had to request one.
4. $10 a day for wifi is beyond ridiculous in this day in age. It was a fight trying to get the wifi up and running, not worth $24.99 for 3 days. The Resort did offer to refund that amount, but the time wasted trying to set it up was time we’d never get back and not worth the frustration trying to figure out these dinosaur tvs. We had brought Chromecast but was never able to get it working. Our Firestick we thought was working but never was fully operational due to the wifi. We spent our first night fighting with tvs and trying to get internet to work, woo hoo! Nothing says relaxation like listening to your child complain about the TV and no internet.
5. The pool was gross, we got in and right back out. The water was green and foggy. The waterfalls that were pictured on their page weren’t working, which was yet another let down. There was no one handing out towels or any towels laying out, so we didn't have a towel to dry off with. We were told we didn’t need to bring towels, but that was not the case.
6. Our street didn't have a sign, so we got lost trying to find our room. The lady told me to turn on Waterfall Road (or something like that), but where we needed to turn had no sign alerting you to turn there. The whole first day was a nightmare from start to finish.
7. The room was not as pictured and did not have all the amenities shown. Our stay was not worth what we paid. It was the classic bait and switch trick and apparently Booking.com is okay with that because they think I don’t deserve any retribution. Apparently, refunding the crappy nightmare wifi should be enough. $637 down the drain for something that was worth more like $237.
I would not recommend Booking.com or Westgate Branson to anyone. I was blown off by one Booking.com rep, the next said a full refund, and then was told by another rep that the only refund I get is for the $24.99 wifi, which I had already been told Id get while I was at the resort. So, Booking.com did nothing to help me get reimbursed for false advertising and frustration. We were lied to and promised things we didn’t get and unfortunately Booking.com is fine with that. I’ll be sticking with Expedia from now on, I’ve learned my lesson the hard way that Booking.com is not the way to go. I’ve always gotten what Ive paid for with Expedia, no false advertising.

No payment from Booking.com
The problem is now and has been the last 4 months that the people who rent out through booking.com Don’t get their Money. I havn’ t Got paid since March 2022. I have tried several times to get an answer when I Can expect to get paid but there is no answer from Booking.com

They overcharged my bank account
They overcharged my bank account, and now they refuse to pay back. It’s like communicating with a wall. Their customer service is really bad and hard to get directed to the right person.

I used them a lot, but after this I will now make bookings through other companies.

Booking.com ripped me off for a discount!
I booked a hotel through Booking.com and they gave me a discount as I had booked with them , when I checked out of hotel I was made to pay full price, no discount, when I got in touch with booking.com they basically send an automated email telling me to get in touch with the hotel! I wont be booking with them again, no wonder they have so many bad reviews. I now cant get in touch with them as all they send are emails you cannot reply to with links to sort out problems they have caused, I m not doing their jobs for them. Also no compaints process on their site!

Don't use booking.com Ruined our honeymoon
Ruined our honeymoon, we were given a room with used towels, used cups with coffee inside, excrement and pee everywhere. I have taken photos, booking.com refuse to do anything after hours and days of calling.

Reference; VECFIN I booked this flight around 3 pm CDT on July 19. I did not receive any confirmation email but my credt card was charged. 8 hours after booking I sent an email to cancel the flight and issue a full refund per DOT rules. I sent another email July 20 @ 6 am CDT. 7:30 am I received an email with a phone number to call to cancel. I called this number around noon July 20. Customer service refused to cancel flight and issue refund. I will present these records of at least 3 attempts to cancel within 24 hours of booking to credit card company for full refund.

Stay away. This is awful. This is nothing like the pictures (they have now after we complained added pictures of the apartment) The standard is terribly low. This is not 3 stars. We brought this up with the homeowners. They say that it is booking.com that is fooling people. They are the ones who take pictures and take care of everything. When we try to post a review of the place, we get a message: The review invitation was not found. That's very strange!! I am almost 50 years old and we have always vacationed around the Mediterranean, several times in Krotia. We have never been so disappointed. We are writing this review to warn others to prevent others from ruining your sim vacation.

I book a taxi though booking.com from…
I book a taxi though booking.com from my hotel to the airport.
At 4am! The taxi did not turn up!

I had to book another taxi with a local company pay €100 cash and booking.com would not pay the difference!
How dare they say no! I was more worried about missing my flight then getting a Receipt!

Unbelievable…

I highly recommend the Mina hotel
I highly recommend the Mina hotel. Very good locations. Very clean hotel. All staff from front desk to cleaning staff are very friendly, supportive, and helpful. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Hopefully see you soon.

Total incompence
When I tried to pay for my reservation, they whole website glitched. They ended up charging me twice but saying I didn't pay.. UNBELIEVABLE! Then I had me go through multiple hoops to try and get this resolved, but they sent me a really bizarre email saying that the hotel declined any wrongdoing because I was charged through booking.com... Well, no crap Sherlock! I have no faith customer support has any idea what they are doing. And I have to ask my bank to step in at this point over something so basic
